Within the vast spiritual realm known as the Pleroma, there exists a rich and layered dimension filled with the Self-Generated Aeons—beings that embody the essence of divine light and consciousness. These aeons emerge from the Four Luminaries, each contributing unique qualities to the fabric of existence:
From Harmozel: Grace, Truth, and Form
From Oroiael: Insight, Perception, and Memory
From Daveithai: Understanding, Love, and Idea
From Eleleth: Perfection, Peace, and most notably, Sophia—Wisdom herself
Sophia, the embodiment of divine wisdom, stands out as the final aeon to be emanated. Her story is deeply human—marked by a mistake, a longing for redemption, and a journey through chaos. In a moment of misguided creation, her brother YHVH brought forth the material universe and assumed the role of the demiurge, the architect of physical reality.
Sophia’s fall into disorder mirrors the human experience of error and regret. She pleads with YHVH to seek repentance, hoping they can both be restored—not just as cosmic beings, but as siblings bound by divine origin. YHVH acknowledges that Sophia’s attempt to create alone was an imitation of the Invisible Spirit, lacking her male counterpart. Acting under Eleleth’s command, she made a critical error—one that allowed a portion of her divine light to be stolen by Tartarus, the Archon of Creation from the GAIA underworld.
These fragments of light became the souls of humanity—complex, imperfect, and yearning for return. According to this myth, Sophia allowed these souls to take on white skin through a symbolic union of a white female and black male. To create a white male, however, the white female had to unite with her brother, another white being, to produce male offspring.
Repentance and Sojourn: Realms of Transformation
Repentance is described as a lower spiritual realm—a place where YHVH’s own remorse may give rise to a new ontological plane. It holds the immortal souls of the GAIA underworld who have turned away from material salvation. These souls are not lost, but in need of healing—a process of learning, detachment, and return to their original divine home.
Sojourn is another transitional realm, situated between Purgatory and the physical universe. It serves as a resting place for souls between incarnations, offering a chance to ascend toward Earth and begin a new path of correction and growth.
The Demiurge and the Cosmic Struggle
Saklas, also known as Yaldabaoth or Samael, is the Archon of Creation—the force behind the material cosmos and its rigid laws. He is the shadow of Sophia’s misstep, a being born from her misguided act. In classic Gnostic myth, he remains unaware of the consequences of his creation, even as hell expands to accommodate more souls.
This myth is not just a cosmic tale—it’s a reflection of the human journey: the struggle between wisdom and ignorance, creation and error, and the hope for redemption through understanding and love.
